Cheaper to use PC monitor or HDTV with PS3?
I recently bought a PS3, but I'm finding that, in some games, text is difficult to read on my SDTV, which is a problem in some text-heavy RPGs. I figure that I need to do something. I have a pretty nice LCD PC monitor that I bought last year that I have played some high end PC games on, so it's probably capable of playing PS3 games. My question is, which would be more cost effective? Buying a small (15 - 19") LCD HDTV or buying all the cables and adapters to use my LCD monitor?
I definitely am not concerned with watching TV in HD.
If I decide on a TV, what types of connections/cables should I make sure it has?
you can get a 720p tv, 19 inches for like 180 here in Ohio. you can get a 22inch monitor that does 720p for the same price. a monitor would be better in terms of cost, but if you want to watch tv also, a monitor wont have a cable hook up
