Used Dell Latitude C840, worth it?
There is a guy selling a used dell latitude in the paper for $200. I was buying it for one of my buddies that can't afford a pc. It is a P4 mobile, 512mb ram, 32mb nividia, and cdrw/dvd combo, and comes with winxp pro sp3, office 2007. It is a lot thicker than my thinkpad I paid $300 for, but it has just about the same specs(thinkpad has 1gb ram). Would you buy this laptop, is also has a 1600x1200 15" screen too.
thats probably about $100 bucks cheaper than anywhere online at least. you should try and get him to drop another 30 bucks or so depending on hard drive size, but as long as he doesnt expect to game on it, its fair.
