I have lost my toshiba start disk where can i get a new one ?
I have a toshiba laptop and ont it says it is an equium and i have an a60 manual the receipt says TOSHIBA A60-173 P4-532 if that helps. It says at start up
file missing or corrupt windowssystem32configsystem
you can attempt to repair this file by starting windows setup using the original setup CD-ROM.
unfortunately I do not have the disk and please could you tell me where I could get a new disk. Thanks Jack
you can order one from Toshiba's customer service or go to Toshiba's customer service website the last one I bought was about $30,00, But you will also need windows install disk, If you have windows xp or Vista then your going to be out of luck Microsoft are no longer supporting Vista and XP, so Manufactures are not allowed to supply Windows XP or Vista any more,
you need to do what I did, dump windows and install Linux on your Toshiba it is a lot faster, more secure and stable, it does not get windows viruses It is free to download and use you get all the software that you will ever need all Free,
Linux is 10 years a head of Microsoft windows 7, check out the latest June/July 2010 releases here
