My PC turns off!!!?
I've formatted the hard drive and its ready to install win xp pro.
however, when I boot from my win xp pro cd, appears a windows where I can choose to stay with FAT32 o change it to NTFS. In this particular moment... my pc turns off. before selecting any option, my pc turns off inmediately. with no error display or anythi ng like that.
I thought the problem was with the power supply or the processor's termal paste. To discard this, I decided to let the pc running alone. It has more than a half and hour and it stays on, fine. but when y boot from the cd... it turns off.
Im getting desperate here... please help me

It is possible you have a serial ATA controller that needs special drivers loaded for the installation to continue. Early in the installation process, a prompt to press a function key, I think it's F6 to load hard drive controller drivers. At the prompt, this the key and insert the disk containing the drivers for your hard drive controller.
After the hard drive controller drivers are loaded, continue with the installation.
