New RAM = Better performance?
My System is a
P4 2.8GHZ FSB533mhz
1024MB Ram DDR266 PC2100 Xerox
X1650 Pro 256 AGP 8x
BF2 FPS is 15-34, mostly under 25... I was wondering if i buy more RAM ( 2GB 4x512mb OCZ Value DDR400 PC3200) from a friend, will i have a HUGE boost or None cause of my CPU???
I mean, even tho i have the 2gig Ram, will my Processor Bottleneck it?
If you want a higher fps on BF2, get a motherboard that can take PCI-e video cards first. Then pickup a good PCI-e video card. 1 GB ram is fine for BF2, it wouldn't affect the FPS if you have more.
