Do RAM determine the capacity of your hard disk space?
I have 256mb of RAM and i want to upgrade my hard disk to 200gb of space. Can my PC support it?
My Pc is P4 1.8ghz, 256mb RAM, current hard disk space is 40gb.

O-K, yes, your Hard drive needs to be upgraded, IF you are running low on disk space (Download a lot of video, do you?)
But your memory is a bigger concern.
You should up-grade to AT LEAST 512 Mb of memory.
More, if you can afford it.
If you have a processor speed of 4.1 Ghz, then I assume that you are running Windows XP.
If yes, then, yes, your PC will support a HD of 200 GB.
To answer your initial question, RAM had no affect on Hard Drive capacity.
So go ahead.
If this is a Lap Top we are talking about, and not a Desktop or Tower PC, then these upgrades will cost quite a bit more.
