pentium 4 1.8 ghz faster than pentium 4 2.00 ghz?
i have a dell dimension 2350 with a pentium 4 1.8 ghz, and 1 gb of ram. i also have a dell optiplex gx260 [business class] that has a pentium 4 at 2.00 ghz. and 1.5 gb of ram. they both have windows xp professional sp2. much more of the hard drive on the dimension was used than the optiplex. the dimension always seemed to run windows xp professional better than both the 2.00 ghz system as well as my pentium 4ht 2.8 ghz dell optiplex gx270 machine. i will never understand this. is there a reason why this is happening?
