Where to get drivers for USB controller, Dell Optiplex GX260, and procedure to reinstall XP Pro?
I just bought a refurbished Dell Optiplex GX260 from Dell. It seems to be 3 years old, but never used. It came with a Reinstall CD for XP Pro, but no CD for drivers. I figure I need to download drivers from the Dell web site. But I can't find one for the USB.
I got most of Windows working but no USB. On the Device Manager I still get a yellow question mark for USB controller, no driver installed. I can't even identify the USB controller, because it seems to be part of the chipset. I keep reinstalling the chipset drivers but still no USB. How can I identify the controller and how do I get the driver for it? Are there instructions for the reinstall of XP Pro that I did not get?
