Home made lab power supply?
Guys I need help, I am making a lab power supply from a computer power supply. But I don't know the wire to turn it on (DC power on). Its usually a green wire but there is no green wire. I am using a Dell PS-5201-7D. ATX 200 watt GX1 Optiplex.

I know that the wire is located on some where on P1. Dell gives this info on other power supplies but not this one it seems. http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/ban_gx1/power.htm
Alright I dug out an old Dell 4600 ATX power supply. P-1 plug is the main board 20 pin. Position: lock tab up, wires in your hand towards you. From the right side, top row of wires. Count in 4 wires, it is a green wire. Only one in the loom. This PSU is in size approx. 3.5 X 5.5 X6 inches. Looked at the link you left, both types appear smaller. Would not think Dells PSU vender would swap wires around. Hope it helps.
