WIndows xp problem?
I have just bought a dell optiplex gx150 and have put my 80gb hard drive that i had out of my old pc into it and i know it works and i have formatted it fully and then put the xp install disk in. The problem i have is that is seems to be installing but incredibly slowly, as ive had it on overnight and a few hours before and since and its only at 53% at *usrshuta.exe*. its never this slow on any other pc and all the hard drives and things are connected properly so why is it so slow.??

Cause#1-- The XP cd gets corrupted in some area
solution: get another copy od cd and try
Cause#2-- The cdrom drive having problem
Solution- Try to clean head of cdrom, or replug in the cables, if not solved use other cdrom.
Cause#3-- Bad sector
solution:-- scan disk for bad sectors (use scandisk.exe after booting from dos/win98 cd
