Used computers have very little value, so people would just like to get something for them. Consider that you can buy BRAND NEW for about $500, and it will last 7 years. The old rig that you are buying is probably 3 years old already. That means that it might last you 3 years. So do you want AWESOME for $500, or LAME for under $100. It's your choice.
