Windows XP, Vista, or 7?
This is a question that I absolutely dread while trying to buy a computer.
Though, unfortunately, it is that time again, because the computer I have now does not have enough space or the portability I need for school.
All seem OK to me, though most plug-ins and add-ons are optimized for either Vista or XP and not 7 because it is simply too new.
Although I really want to get the best computer possible, and I'm not too sure about what would be right for me.
So I'm asking people that are experienced in this area, in what the pros/cons of XP, Vista, and 7.
Apparantley it depends on the person. Does anyone know enough about them to list pros/cons?
Ex Windows 3.1, Windows 95, Windows 98, and XP user here. When VISTA came out I immediately left XP behind. No regrets. Vista has done everything I need it to do.
Playing with Windows 7 and see little difference in it from VISTA...well the mail program in Windows 7 is Live mail (YUCK!).
I am staying with Vista for now but have Windows 7 one computrer now.
