Optical Mouse sometimes jump to right side of the screen, with menu popups and gone for a few times.?
After a few seconds, it returns normal.
Mouse: Logitech wired optical
OS: Windows XP SP2
Antivirus scan did not find anything wrong on system drive.
Hijackthis does not find anything highly suspicious process or service.
Doing a deep computer scan for spyware now.
I'm asking to look for any other possibilities before nailing it on the hardware problem.

Not sure if it will help, but my Optical Mouse used to jump a lot... I found it was the mouse mat I was using.... try a different mat see if that helps........
