What is the most appropriate music software to make music at home? (for techno and ambient music)?
I just bought a keyboard with midi connection (USB) and I want to get a music software so I can make music at home, record CD's and so on. I have a Vaio laptop and the keyboard is a Casio WK 500. I am thinking of getting either Sony Acid Music Studio 7, Music Creator 5, or Music Maker 15. Which one would you recommend? I am a beginner, but really good at self teaching.
Fl Studio 9xxl! Its very versatile. You can download freeware synthasizers, drum samples. I have been using it for years and I build very complex songs and I even record my guitar into the program for some very professional sounding stuff. You can find vidoe tutorials too on sites like youtube. You can also use reason 4 but it is a little bit limited. My uncle had music maker and it seemed to be all loops. Stuff someone had already recorded themselves. Thats weak. I thought Acid was more like an audio recorder. Either way you can do more with Fl Studio.
