Laptop: Windows XP to Vista?
im getting an Acer Aspire Mini 8.9 inch this weekend. it has windows XP and i want to know if it would slow my laptop down if I got Vista. Also, could i put it on with an external drive? or is any of this even possible with a laptop?
Take this from my own experience, try to hold out for windows 7. I've used all the windows OS and 7 is the fastest and best all around so far. Vista still has a few annoying quirks. Try the windows 7 release candidate and see if you like it! It's free from Microsoft. Just search Windows 7 RC. But, it probably will slow down your laptop if you upgrade now.
