How do i add more memory in my windows boot camp?
I have a windows boot camp installed in my mac already but i want to add more memory by moving some from my mac to my windows boot camp in my mac. is this possible?
what on earth is a windows boot camp ?, never mind.
there are 3 techniques for selecting and installing computer memory
1 if you have the expertise do it yourself otherwise let a computer store or tech do it for you
2 get advice about what type speed and quantity of memory you should or could get for your PC
ask the maker or a major memory supplier for guidance and give them the exact specs and serial numbers of your PC and tell them what type of memory is already installed windows control panel section will provide much of that information
some memory runs at faster speeds so you need to check if you need that extra speed which will cost more and also check that your PC can make use of that speed
3 I might be wrong about this but I think there are computer services that will come to your location and fit the memory on site.
remember some PC techs are nosey parkers and if you have private information on your PC such as financial stuff get it off before you hand your machine over and also remember that deleted files can easily be recovered you should always shred them you can get software to shred files that have already been deleted

your virus checker may already have a shredder but it probably wont deal with already deleted fikes but check
I dont know where you live so I cant mention any memory suppliers by name but a google search or a look in a PC mag should clue you in easily and remember if you buy your memory from the PC maker they will probably charge more and also a memory supplier will stock the most up to date memory and they are experts where memory is concerned
