My Media Center remote control is hyperactive! Help!?
I purchased a Media Center remote control for my Windows XP Media Center PC and it seems to be hyperactive. For example, when I press the Fast Forward button, a movie will fast forward for 2 or 3 seconds, then ZOooooom to the end. It works the same with volume and any incremental control.
I can't find any settings for this device.
Does anyone have any tips?

ok... try to open the battery acess door where the batteries are at, see if there is a reset button embeded any where visible. Some of my high end remotes have this feature. if that doesnt work try calling 1-800 remotes. I hope this helps, take care happy new year.
