Windows XP Media Center Edition VS. XP Pro, any thing diffrent?
Im building a budget ganing computer with windows XP. Windows Vista = Piece of bull ****. I also have a laptop that im currently using, no gaming on it though, and it has Windows Vista Home Premium, i might install XP pro over vista.
I did some research on Windows XP Pro, it has the BEST Power Management for laptops, has the best internet sharing stuff, and some other good stuff.
I also did research on XP Media Center Edition and its just XP Pro with the media stuff added onto it.
XP MCE is about 30$ Cheaper than XP Pro.
I want to know if i get ALL of the things Pro has in Media. Power Management, internet sharing, all of that good stuff
MCE has everything XP Pro does with the Windows Media Centre added to it. I use it on one of my computers.
Since XP is boring and will be obsolete soon i wouldn't spend huge dollars on it however.
I would rather use Vista myself at least until Widows 7 is released.
