Having difficulties playing a lot of PC games on my computer…what can be the problem? Here are the specs...?
My computer meets beyond the minimum system requirements and in some cases even the recommended, but I still have jerky graphics. The latest game I'm trying out is Lost Planet. It's minimum requirements are:
OS:Windows XP SP2
Processor:Intel® Pentium® 4 HT
RAM:512MB Windows XP, 1GB for Windows Vista
Hard Drive:8.0GB
Video Card:NVIDIA® GeForce® 6600 or Greater
Other:DirectX® 9.0c/Shader3.
My computer easily meets these requirements:
Windows XP and Vista
Pentium D 3.0 GHz
2 GB RAM
Plenty of hard drive space
ATI Radeon X1300 Pro 256MB RAM
Direct X 9
I even meet the the game's recommended requirements except the processor:

I ahve a dual boot setup...XP and Vista.
Do you have 2 different operating systems? That could be your problem.
