How long does it take your computer to import a CD to iTunes?
I just got a new Dell notebook, with a DVD-RW drive, and it seems like it's taking a lot longer to import a music CD than previous computers I've had. Would someone mind measuring the time it takes to import a standard music CD? Thanks all!
You need to make sure that you don't have too many programs running as you import the songs, that will slow down the transfer. Check the task manager as well to see what's running, as a lot of programs run in the background. It should take about 10 minutes to do a whole CD.
