Do you know of any free software that plays samples using a pc keyboard?
I have Cubasis but do you know how i can play various samples & use the pc keyboard as a real keyboard to play & record a track as I play the samples???
any ideas?
Reason can do it when its combined with a program called recycle. Im sure Cubase can do it. I have not played around with Cubase for a few years so im not sure how 2 explain it but here i go:
You have to set up a sample playback VI in cubase, then you have to load your samples into it.
If i was you i would download propellorheads program called recycle and then i would import the sample and cut it up and then export it as a .REX file.
This can then be imported into Cubase and played as a sample through the keyboard.
