I currently have a Nvidia GeForce4 MX 440 With AGP 8x graphics card (64MB).
I was wondering whether a GeForce FX 5500 (256 MB) and 5600 (256MB) graphics card will be compatible with my system.

Graphics Card- Nvidia GeForce Mx 440 with AGP 8x (64MB)
Yes you can swap out a FX5500 or a FX5700 for your MX440 but your only going to take advantage of the extra RAM(64mb to 256mb) as the FX line of cards were never ment for gaming except the FX 5900Ultra was a good gaming card in its day(they are old) I would look for a used Geforce 6800gt or a 7800gs as they are both AGP cards & are much better.
