Which to go for? Toshiba Satellite or IBM T40?
Im in a dilemma between these 2.:
Toshiba Satellite A65, XP Pro, 2.8Ghz, 1GB Ram, 60GB HDD(4200), P4, 15.4 inch screen
or
IBM T40, XP Pro, 1.5Ghz, 1GB Ram, 60GB HDD(4200), Pentium M, 14 inch screen
The way I see it the Satellite has a bigger screen and the IBM has a Pentium M. However, Im still confused what to go for? Anyone can suggest?
Which costs less? As far as computing power they are about the same, Toshiba uses a Celeron 2.8Ghz processor and the IBM uses a Pentium M 1.5Ghz, so speed wise they are about the same. What are you using it for? If for business, get the IBM, if just for the kids or to expand your home network the Toshiba will do nicely. I'm using a old iron horse Toshiba Satellite A45-S120 that I got on sale. It uses a Celeron 2.60Ghz processor and I upped the RAM to 1 GB and added a wireless G/B adapter. I use it for my home wireless network. this thing weighs a TON! A little over 6 pounds with the battery in.
