Tomorrow, I will SUSE 10 on my machine. I have a IBM ThinkCenter, P4 2.6GHz, 1.2GB RAM(DDR,133MHz), 80GB HDD(partitioned 12GB for SUSE), running Win XP Pro with SP2. I have the bootable dvd ready, made necessary backups of data. I just want to know what I am in for wrt installation, configaration of SUSE. Also, I would like to know, if I specially need to be prepared for any surprises that SUSE might throw onto me.

I would make sure you have all linux drivers downloaded for the main pieces of hardware, in case you cannot connect to internet once you install
