can a p4,1.70ghz ibm pc(made in 2000)support a ata/ide disk of 320gb?
i have a IBM intel pentium 4, 1.70 GHz PC ,i brought it in 2000.it has a samsung SPO802N 80gb hard disk drive(i think which is ite/ata)
can i buy a 320 gb hard disk drive which will run on my pc.if yes then please tell the model no. of that hdd.
please tell the approx. price of it and will the hard disk be repaced if it does not run in my computer?
Yes any size IDE drive will run on your computer .... the only trouble you will have is if you're running Win98 (fat32) which will only recognise up to 132GB ... if however your running Win 2000 or XP using NTFS you can pretty much go as large as you can afford ... giving you a price is totally irrelevant not knowing where you are ... it's a big wide world in here
