is a thinkpad r60 a good computer?
it is an ibm thiknkpad r60 intel celeron 1.6 512mb of ram 40gb hd windows xp, is this a good upgrade from the dell latitude c840 p4-m 2.2 512mb or ram and a 60 gb hard drive with windows 2000 sp4
More of a downgrade- Thinkpad computers are nicely built, but a Celeron 1.6Ghz is much weaker than your current p4-m 2.2Ghz.
Also, XP needs more RAM than Windows 2000, so that 512mb will feel slow, especially after installing SP3. I'd look for something else.
