First, i have a super old computer!.
Ibm Netvista P4 processor 256mb ram. NO FLOPPY drive.
i have a pc133 256mb and 512mb spare..when i put in those sticks, my monitor wont respond, no post either.
My friend told me to update my bios.
but i dont have a floppy drive on my PC...
and finally.
Im planning to upgrade this computer to win7. (im not crazy)
if i have the 768mb ram, would you think its sufficient to run win7. YES I KNOW ITS UNDER THE REQUIREMENTS. but im running XP on 256mb...

First of all please do not upgrade to windows 7 because your super old computer will become super slow computer! and if you still want to taste windows 7 then 512 ram is enough to run it.and as far as BIOS is concerned you can get update for it from driver guide or download a software from www.radarsync.com and you can update your BIOS within windows XP.however the conclusion is that you must buy a new pc if you want to use windows 7.
