I have a Gateway EV730-Monitor,and a HP-Pavillion533W Procesor,how do I config. my monitor correctly?Hlp,pleas
Monitor=Intel(R) 82865G Graphics Controller,with Intel Graphics Miniport driver,Version: 6.14.10.3929, Video Bios version: 3114 @ 570,874bytes. But my report of, states that the Operating System of this monitor is, WindowsNT* 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2??HUH!? My Tower is an 2002- HP-Pavilion 533W with 240MB Ram, ( I have WindowsXP Home on this), Can someone please tell me how (If,anyway posible) I can configure my monitor properly??? My color and Graphics are disorted and all jumbled up. HELP PLEASE?! Thankx,moonshine1
Bottom line is: make sure you are using the CORRECT video /graphics drivers for your video controller ( go to HP's site and download them for your pavillion 533 & your operating system= XP), then adjust your maximum resolution for whatever your monitor can safely handle...then all should be fine...
