Macbook Pro Vs. HP Pavilion?
Will a Macbook Pro with an Intel Core 2 duo of 2.4 ghz and 2gb(4gbs maximum) of Ram run as smooth as an Hp Pavilion notebook with ntel core 2 duo of 2.8 ghz ad 4 Gbs of Ram (8gs maximum)?
(Note also, the Hp Pavillion has a much better graphics card with dedicated 512mb as oposed to the Mac's slighly less powerful card with 215mb dedicated memory)
The Hp obviously has better specs and higher memory so will the Mac still "outperform" it's competition's better specs? Or will they be at the same level?
I believe the MBP will run better as opposed to the Pavilion. This I say because Mac OS X is much lighter than Vista, therefore requires a ton less resource than Vista, assuming the Pavilion runs on Vista.
