Is 64 processes running on my Task Manager a lot for Windows and is it slowing me down?
I have an HP laptop, 3.2 GHz P4 with HT, 1.25 gigs RAM (only 387 MB being used with all this crap loaded), don't know how to check my available cache.
Install Spybot - (google for it) and update it. Check you machine for sypware malware etc. Then check its advanced features Tools Tab -> System Startup -> remove junk that you dont need.
For available memory and resources righclick on taskbar and see Task Manager and see the third tab for CPU and memory usage.
