a local hardwar enggineer installed avant browswer with avast antivirus..and then net was happening....y so????
means the inter explorer is only fr wifi?? and rest all browswers are fr local nets?

Don't be sorry for confusing us, but I've heared from my friends that they had faced lot of problem with TATA indicom usb net connection. I'm sure this issue is not related to browser or any anti-virus program.
Did you check with the tech if he has actually found any issue while working on your issue. I have 3 years of experience in wi-fi I havnt heared anything like this before. keep me in loop and try basic trouble shooting.
1. Check if you wireless button on the laptop is on.
2. Disconnect / reconnect and type the correct encryption key underneath the router.
3. Configure you wireless using wirless card utility program.
