question about a video card?
hi, i have an hp compaq dc5750 small form factor computer and i'm looking at an ati radeon x1300 pci-e low profile video card. now the problem i have is that i'm having a lot of trouble finding a video card that requires less or just 240 watts of power, and this video card requires atleast 250 watts, would it harm my computer if the computer is just 10 watts short of the power required by the video card?
It will still run but you may never get full performance with it, you may not even notice. On the other side of it, you will be taxing your power supply.
