IBM iseries navigator problem?
I got this error when I try to open iseries navigator cwbunnav.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. I can open my sessions. Here is what I am using.
HP dc5100
Win XP SP2
1GB RAM
iseries Access for windows V. 5 R. 3

Sure have. I assume you installed the package from a file server. My suggestion is to uninstall Client Access COMPLETELY............
Map a drive to your AS/400 and pull the install from there. (you will need to assemble this link as Yahoo likes to break any links like this)
Permanently Map your drive to:
YourAS400NameOrIP
QIBM
Then Navigate down to.........
ProdData
CA400
Express
Install
Image
Run SETUP.EXE.........
You may have a corrupted DLL or other requisite file.
ALSO. Go to START, PROGRAMS, IBM CLIENT ACCESS (or something like that) and click on Client access properties..........under the SERVICE tab....put the link
(again, you will need to reassemble this link)

The client access program will keep an eye out for service pack updates to Client access.......you may need to kick it off manually as sometimes the drive will not reconnect.........To manually check....make sure you can access the mapped drive, then click on START, IBM CLIENT ACCESS, SERVICE, Check for updates (or similar to that)
