New HP from Costco. Any good?
I have been looking around for a desktop and ran into one at costco.
HP Intel core 2 quad q6600 intel viv
3G ram 400 hard
burner 24" tuner/monitor
remote key and mouse.
NVidia G Force 8500 GT
no speakers (I have)
You get tech support from costco concierge(lifetime software, 2 year hardware)
I HATE HP cust service (India) so it seems it is handled with calling the costco concierge
Seems like a good price at $1700
I play one vid game and want a good card
I watch some porn, not as important to me

You are mistaken about HP's support, Dell 's customer support is based in India and sucks balls.
I choose to build my computers for many reasons but if I was to purchase from ANY major manufacturer it would be HP hands down. Considering whats offered I say its fairly priced. Go price a PC with the same specs from Dell and it will be at least $500 more for proprietary components and lousy tech support.
