Lexmark All- In- One X2480 with brand new HP Tower?
I just got a new HP Computer Tower, and wanted to connect my old Lexmark printer to it. Unfortunately the person who installed the printer into my first computer misplaced the CD-software that came with it. Are they compatible with each other, and is there anyway to install the printer without software? If there is can someone provide me with a link? I have all ready checked the Lexmark site myself, but haven't found anything. I just don't really want to waste a perfectly good printer.
You can download the driver(s) directly from the Lexmark (USA) website, dear lady. Do ensure you download the correct driver for whichever Operating System you're using on your computer. (Click on the tab that says Downloads to see which specific driver is for which Operating System.)
Hopefully, you shouldn't have too much trouble setting it up correctly. (It may pay you to copy the setup file(s) to a CD in case you ever need to reinstall at some point in the future.)
