I downloaded a printer driver it tries to save the document as another file?
I downloaded I driver for my printer, it a Hp deskjet 5150. When I go to print a document it pops up and asks my to save the file , I tried saving it first and then printing from the new saved file but it just asked me to save it again. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
After installing the printer, did you go to your printer control panel and change the default printer to your new HP?
Sounds like your default printer is still set to the Microsoft XPS printer - which does exactly what you said - saves the output as a file rather than actually printing to paper.
