usb problem on my pc?
i have a dell optiplex gx620
8 usbs and all dont work for mouse keyboard (power works)
usb light works fine
keyboard and mouse work fine but when get to the os loading screen they go off and stop working
i have tried installing win xp 4 times and win 7 2 and still not working
and i dont think its because of this but my cd drive also isnt working
so what shall i do to fix the usbs?
When you have format your PC. Yet if your USB not working so it's problem of your BIOS Settings.
Reboot Your PC and enter in BIOS by pressing DEL or F2 or what ever it show to enter in BIOS
try to load default setting by pressing F9 save and exit by pressing F10 and reboot your PC.
Check if USB working or not if not then try to change USB settings manually in BIOS.
steel not working so now it's time to upgrade BIOS.
