I have a Dell Optiplex Gx270 Pentium 4
2.6 Ghz and 512mb Ram.
I'm planning to buy a hard drive that is ATA-100 and some are 2mb cache buffer and some 8mb cache is there a big difference between this two? what does cache buffer do?
I'm gonna use my computer for some gaming once in a while, games like counter strike source, age of empires 3, medal of honor pacific assault, quake, not very hard core.
