difference between 2.26 and 2.53 ghz on a laptop.?
i was thinking of getting a macbook pro with 250/500gb hdd 4gb 1066 ddr3 ram and nvidia 9400m as my gpu.
going to be used for general use and some occasional gaming/photo editing. my question being should i spend around £100 extra and get the more "powerfull" cpu or will it be a bit of a waste since .26ghz isnt a lot (core 2 duo btw). thank you.
for about 80% of the time i will be surfing the net and typing up etc so will the "better" cpu be more future friendly (relly want to get snow leopard with it -is 4gb enough?)

Better get the 2.53. U can never have more processor speed. Ur PC will be faster in general and changing the GPU later is a real pain. And yeah it may have an impact on some programs like if u try to extract an archive or convert a video it will just be faster. Also, technology advances fast. Soon ur 2.26 will be too slow for the newer applications and games.
My advice is to get the 2.53 (I have 1 too), only 100 is worth the speed upgrade ! 
PS: yeah 4gb ram is enough even for hardcore gaming...
