Verifying that I can hook up my Xbox 360 Elite to my HD Monitor...?
Ok, I have an Xbox 360 Elite. I have an HD Monitor with multiple inputs like HDMI, DVI, VGA, and it has the HD AV cord inputs that I think the Xbox 360 Elite has a cord for. I bought a Logitech Z-2300 for my Xbox and will get it in the mail in the next weeks or so...
My monitor is hooked up via HDMI cord to my PC tower so I was wondering if I could hook up my Elite via the HD AV inputs on the monitor and have the HDMI hooked up to my tower at the same time. The HD monitor is a 22" HD Gateway if that matters.
I'm pretty positive that my Z-2300 speaker set is compatable and works with my Xbox so nothing really to ask about that.

I've heard that you can use the source button or whatever it's called. On mine, i goto input select, and VGA, DVI, and Component are listed. Can't I use this to switch between HDMI and the HD AV cable's aka the component?
Essentially what you'll find is that you can't have both inputs on at once, they can both be hooked up but one can't be functioning, as you could ruin the monitor. This is of course if you don't have settings like a TV where you can select "AV 1, AV 2, Ect. ect."
Best thing to do is to just leave one device off while the other is on, ya know?
