I need help with my desktop computer, can anyone help me?
Whenever I turn on my Gateway desktop computer, windows xp loads normally but when i get to the "select profile" page, I move the mouse to select one of the profiles and the monitor stops recieving a signal from the computer. Can you give me any tips please?
I would try connecting a different monitor first. If the issue goes away, something is up with your monitor.
If the issue still persists, you might have some weird glitch in OS. I would give Gateway a call or something first and see if they have any ideas. If you haven't tried rebooting already, try running Windows in Safe Mode. Worst case is you might have to install Windows after backing up your hard drive contents.
