if the minimume requirement of the game is cpu 2000 and mine is 1800. how bad will it run?
ghost recon 2 requires 2000 but i have 1800. could i make it run smoother e.g. by reducing the graphics. or will it not change the game performance. how can i make the game run even though i havent got enough CPU? is adding memory is inevitable.. will i have to spend a lot of money on upgrading the notebook
Further to previous answer, The minimum spec for a game or any other bit of software really is that. The manufacturer's want as many people to use it as possible so will turn off every feature and function possible to get it to run on a low spec machine.
As your PC is below even this, you will find that it will be unstable, not just slow. As the program demands more processing power then your CPU can manage it begins to bottleneck, and processes are lost,dropped or corrupted. This is why your have been suffering crashed, not just slow downs.
Putting more Ram in is not going to solve this, I am afraid, as the two issues are separate.
Also, as it is a laptop there is very little leeway to overclock, and you cannot of course add in upgrade cooling fans.
