How to repair Vista through recovery console?
On windows XP before you install windows you had the option to repair existing installation if the setup detected a previous installation.You also had the option of system file checker through recovery console.How can I repair Vista installation through recovery console or by re installing without losing my existing installation? The "fix startup problem" option can't find anything wrong and the "sfc /scannow" command is not supported on vista recovery console.
