ive removed the yellow CMOS Bios battery and reset it but it still shows up that i need pw?
ok ive tryed to fix this in 4 hours. now and soon giveing up ive open up the computer and take out the CMOS Bios battery and so put it back again but it stills says i need Bios password to get into the Bios. wtf? what more do i have to do? i cant get inside the computer so i can't get the bios password from there.
Are you SURE that was the CMOS battery? In my experience, you have to get "inside the computer" to remove it. Maybe it's different with laptops.
The other way to erase the BIOS password is to find the right two jumpers (they're labeled) on the main computer board, but again, that's inside the computer.
