Wich laptop is right for me?
I have a PS3 and im getting an Hauppauge HD PVR real soon,but this is what the laptop needs in order to run the software the PVR comes with.
Processor Requirements (minimum): Dual core CPU 2.0GHz or faster
Windows 7 (32 and 64-bit), Windows Vista or Windows XP service pack 2 (32-bit).
Graphics with 256MB memory (or greater)
Sound card
CD-ROM drive for installing the HD PVR software

Honestly,no $400 laptop is going to be adequate as a DVR. That laptop should work, but you're going to run out of disk space really quickly.
1 hour of HD programming will use 6GB.
You may want to also boost the RAM to 6GB as well - DVR software needs a lot of RAM.
