Is there a difference between Intel Core 2 vs Intel Dual Core, I just won an ebay listing and am unsure?
I was originally bidding on a computer with 3.4 speed core duo, I lost the bidding but here is the link if it helps.

I found a similar listing directly from dell and won the bidding, this one is listed as 1.8 (per core) and has the processor type as Intel core 2. Are these the same or different processors, is the core 2 really a 3.6 and the one company is just trying to make it look higher, did I get a good deal?
This is what I won, I'm wondering if I got a better or worse deal than what I originally wanted.

the first one is Dual Core
the second one is probably Core 2 Duo
Core 2 Duo is better than dual core in general
But 3.4Ghz Dual Core is probably much better than 1.8Ghz Core 2 Duo.
EDIT: I`m not sure there is a 3.4Ghz Dual Core
