What is better in a computer for speed. more GHz or more ram?
I have an new imac with a 2.0 ghz intel core duo processer, and 1gb of ram. It is lagging a bit when i have my many things open and running/downloading etc... i need it to be quicker so i am probably going to buy another gig of ram off the apple site for 100 bucks... would having 2 gb of ram be faster than a faster processer?
I think Your 2.0 GHz. is speedy enough.
I would go for an other 1 Gig. RAM.
And do not run everything at the same
time no computer can run everything does
not madder what You buy, You can load
them until they crash.
Buying a 1 Gig. Ram is a lot cheaper than
a new computer.
