How fast will Windows 7 on my comp?
OK so i have XP which runs fast and i wanna W7 but my bro say W7 will run slow on my comp is it true?
Here is my system:
3 Ghz
2 GB RAM
1 GB Video Card(Graphic Card)
Intel Core 2 Duo Processor
Will W7 Work very smooth on my computer?
It'll work, but you may need a tad bit more Ram, if you're computer is running fast with XP, stick with XP. Win7 still has lots of bugs, (whether MS admits it or not, every OS they bring out has bugs for at least 2 years) Other than the 64 bit advantage, which won't effect you until you have over the 4gb threshold for 32 bit OS. I see no reason for you to waste money buying Win7, not to mention you will have to wipe the hard drive, because each version of windows uses a different hard drive formatting technology. Win95/98 it was the Fat32 system, Win XP brought out the NTFS, now Win7 guaranteed has another way of filing data on the hard drive. As my mom always says "If it's not broken why fix it?"
