What is much more faster, and AMD Sempron 2.2 Ghz or an Intel Core 2 Duo 1.66Ghz?
An AMD Sempron consist of only one processor while the Intel Core 2 Duo has two. So maybe the Intel Core 2 Duo is more faster but i do not have any strong evidence to prove it so please help me out.
This is no comparison, Sempron and Core 2 duo are not even the in the same class. The core 2 is way faster, probably like 10 times faster.
As the other guy said, the Sempron is intentionally dumbed down in order to be a budget CPU. Not to mention it is like 3 generations old now. Its AMD's answer to the Intel Celeron D processor.
