help we just got a new computer for christmas it is a hp pavilion a1600n but i have no desktop or no start but
please help i can not go to the control panel or nothing the only way i can get in is i have an email button on this keyboard when it first starts up it flashes the icons but just that fast they; are gone for good i am a complete itiot on pcs but my kids really need this thing for school i have 2 4.0 students and they need a reliable computer well thanks for your time happy new year rita phillips thanks again
If it is new, an instruction manual on set up should have been included. There are steps you have to go through to get it operational and register your operating system with Microsoft.
Read the set up instructions or, if you don't have them, contact HP and they will send you one.
Failing that, as it cannot be done through this medium, have a friend who is computer savvy to help you while he/she is sat in front of your computer:)
